What happened to Primal Service?

Hello Saab friends!

I wrote in this forum a few years ago asking if you could recommend me a good service point for servicing my Saab.

You recommended me Primal service, that I think was then located at or close to Neos Cosmos, and after the first service I had no problem to understand why. Andreas was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and genuinely helpful . I did my last service when they had just moved to Glyka Nera. Then for practical reasons I had to do the service in Sweden instead.

Now that I'm back in Greece with my Saab :auto-car: :auto-checkeredflag:, I thought to have the service done here, but I was terrified to hear that Andreas is not in charge of Primal Service anymore. Thus I'm wondering if anyone knows what happened, if Primal Service is still the best bet for a good service at a reasonable price, or if I better go somewhere else?

I would be very thankful for any answers to the above question.

Hello Robert,
im pretty sure that the SAAB service-place that was in Glyka Nera was closed ... some other guy had the place (i think his name was Spiros).
There is a thread in the forum where various service places are referred but its in Greek , so it would be hard for you to understand.
What I can suggest for you , is the place I'm taking my Saab (and others aswell) and i'm really happy with the quality of work he's doing + he's really knowledgeable in our cars , that its hard to find in nowdays.

The correct name is Stavros (not Spiros)

I just write to inform that I had my Saab serviced at Stavros's place today. I can fully understand why you picked this particular man. I spent quite some time there, a lot more than expected actually, while Stavros apart from performing the regular service found several small problems, including a leak in the power brake system. He fixed them elegantly and I probably avoided more severe problems down the road. All at a reasonable and logical cost.

Stavros has great humor, while taking his job and the condition of your car very seriously. If anyone of you haven't already been there I can highly recommend him.

Funny isn't it, Swedish Saab owner that travels 3000 km to Greece to have his car serviced! :auto-driving:

By the way, since I have traveled all the way here, is there by any chance any meeting of Saab enthusiasts happening in Greece? After a car service it would be next on my list of things you must experience as a Saab owner in Greece. :auto-car:

i'm really happy that everything went as planned and you have your car serviced. As i told you before, Stavros knows what he's doing (and i guess thats why many of us choose him) ...
I'm sure that if we have a meeting in the near future, you will be messaged from either Chris or some other moderator so you can join aswell !
